2009 Northside Women's Resource Fair

2009 Northside Women’s Resource Fair
Sunday, June 7th
12 to 4 p.m.
Sullivan Center, located at 6339 N. Sheridan Rd. on Loyola University of Chicago’s Lakeshore Campus.

The 2009 Northside Women’s Resource Fair will be a new event this year and the goal is to provide women from the Rogers Park, Edgewater and Andersonville neighborhoods with a forum to network with each other and with local agencies, as well as access and discuss information about a wide range of women’s issues, including health, business, education, parenting, and more.

The event will feature keynote speakers, including an address by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and Kelly White, the Executive Director of the Chicago Foundation for Women.  It will also have information tables from local government and social service agencies, and non-profit community organizations.  The first 250 attendees will receive a complimentary welcome folder and event button, and refreshments will be offered throughout the day.

For more information or to RSVP, please contact State Rep. Harry Osterman's office at 773-784-2002 or ostermandistrictoffice@gmail.com.  Additional details and a full session schedule are also available online at http://www.luc.edu/gannon/womens_resource_fair.shtml
