CTA Bus and Rail Service Changes Will Take Effect on February 7, 2010

The following Rogers Park bus and rail service changes will become effective Sunday, February 7, 2010:

Rail
Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink and Brown lines:
Hours and days of service remain unchanged, but service will operate less frequently.

Bus
Eliminated Express Routes:
#X9 Ashland Express
#X49 Western Express
#X80 Irving Park Express
Local bus routes will continue to operate where express routes are being eliminated. Please use local bus routes for alternate service.

Revised Service Hours (service will start later and/or end earlier):
#36 - Broadway
#49B - North Western
#81W - Lawrence
#97 - Skokie
#147 - Outer Drive Express
#155 - Devon

Less Frequent Service:
#9* - Ashland
#11- Lincoln
#22 - Clark
#36 - Broadway
#49* - Western
#49B - North Western
#81- Lawrence
#81W - West Lawrence
#96 - Lunt
#97 - Skokie
#147 - Outer Drive Express
#151 - Sheridan
#155 - Devon

*These routes only have frequency reductions during periods when the eliminated express routes they parallel are not operating
